今天在FTOPS Event #6 Pot Limit Omaha Hi 有一手牌让大家讨论,请有兴趣的眀友们提出自己的打法,因为我想知道是否有更好的处理方法?I will tell you what I\'ve done with this hand later.
By the way, I finished 35th, cashed $1,600 in this event.

...............................

FTOPS Event #6

Blind- 400/800 - Pot Limit Omaha Hi
Seat 1: CrazyMarco (28,312)
Seat 2: U_Alex (17,036)
Seat 3: callcallfold (20,940)
Seat 4: AnjouP (8,298)
Seat 5: KaptenRosso (32,448)
Seat 6: David Chiu (35,225)
David Chiu posts the small blind of 400
CrazyMarco posts the big blind of 800
The button is in seat #5
*** HOLE CARDS ***
U_Alex folds
callcallfold folds
AnjouP folds
KaptenRosso folds
David Chiu calls 400
CrazyMarco checks
*** FLOP *** [5s Kd 2h]
David Chiu bets 1,600
CrazyMarco calls 1,600
*** TURN *** [5s Kd 2h] [Ad]

I have a very strong hand with a straight, three fives and a flush draw.
Should I check hoping he will bet so I can check raise him or should I
bet for value?

David Chiu bets 4,000
CrazyMarco calls 4,000
*** RIVER *** [5s Kd 2h Ad] [2c]

He called my bet. I know I have the best hand. Should I bet for value or
try and check raise the river to get all his chips?

bet
More likely he has something to call down your hand, there is not too much he can bet for (If he does, he has you beat and it won't make difference anyway)

Your opponent CrazyMarco Seems to be a good aggressive pro and he is very young.I don't know his performance in PLO, but probably maintains the same style.
I like David's flop lead, your opponent knew that he had position on you which is a great advantage in PLO, so he may float one time and take the pot on the turn if you show any weakness. Secondly, this flop is a relatively dry flop, he knew that you also knew this and may take a step at it, so if turn did't come any A,3,4 and 6, it's pretty hard to represent a strong hand. In my opinion there are two ways to think about the Ad on the turn.
1) It's true that you had the nuts at the moment, but maybe you'd rather take a 7 or 8 instead of A which you could check raise him and maybe get called by K7xx staff. With the Ad, check-raise showed too much stength.
2) A on the turn brings a straight and flush draw. If you check raise him that would be pretty strong because you could only raise him with a small range of hands---I guess any set  plus made straight. This was really no way you can raise him with 2 pairs even AKxx.

So I would prefer David's action on the turn. In this spot, lead out is really easy and unpredictable instead of check-raise. In other words, Marco didn't know where he's at by calling, and his float-betting plan was failed. So he might call with a marginal hand and prepare a river check-check. If he picked any draw on the turn, you don't want him to beat you by giving a free card. Besides, he was pretty unlikely to bet a draw on the turn considering his stack and position advantage.

The river was interesting, with the preflop and flop action, you was pretty confident that you had the best hand. But if you planed a check raise here, he would face an all-in call. So if I were him, I might even check AK instead of value betting or just bet half pot and prepare folding to a raise. Still, betting and check-raising is pretty closed here. But I would prefer betting here because the possibility of a miss draw bluff from him is smaller than usual (still because of his stack size and also the previous actions). From a experiencing player, your check means a lot of strength (check-raise or bluff catcher) .

All in all, PLO is all about position, so I can't expect more value from this hand.

Well, all the analysis were from my cash game experience which may has a big difference with the tournament at some point.

AAxx, KKxx, 55xx, A2xx, K2xx, 52xx
Crazy~

那我们来看Crazy有可能hold 什么hand after calling 2 st in position, since这个是 bvb的situation

我觉得after calling pot bet in both flop, turn, Crazy极少可能是float with some marginal hands or weak draw (当然我不认识Crazy)
34 without any redraw, top two with AK, K pair with non nut flush draw, K2xx, A2Kx, A2xx [s:149] and etc. :> lol
bottom two 他可能fold on turn

我们bet他多数会call with straight, smaller full house of course, AK嘛....

mobility, you are right. I did value bet on the river knowing hís hand wasn't strong enough to bet it if I check to him. He had top two pairs- AK.
